From the PowerPoint Team Blog…

The PowerPoint Team Blog : Introducing Broadcast Slide Show: “Introducing Broadcast Slide Show

In today’s world, you often need to communicate with people in different locations who can’t get together in the same room. When you’re presenting, you want everyone to see your slide show at the same time — whether they’re sitting next to you or joining on the phone from 10,000 miles away.

PowerPoint 2010 makes it easy to present on the fly to anyone, anywhere. Just send a link, and in one click everyone you invite will be watching a synchronized view of your slide show in their browser. You’ll never again need to email bulky attachments or make an announcement every time you change slides.”

Back in May, Netflix was added to Windows Media Center – the Vista version, that is. The new app, which uses Microsoft’s Silverlight streaming video technology, should automatically show up in your Vista Media Center menu. But if you’re using any version of Windows 7? No dice. There are several work-arounds developed by the enthusiast community, such as MyNetflix and vmcNetflix. But even as Microsoft announced this and a version for the Xbox, there was nothing for Windows 7. Until today.”
